At the end of February, 2008, Albert was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer after a routine chest xray. The cancer was a particularly agressive type and it spread very quickly. After a short fight, Albert died with Susan at his side, at 1.30am on Saturday 5 April 2008. I was privileged to have loved and be loved in return by him and will miss him and love him forever. Until we meet again. x
